AMA stands for American Marketing Association, a membership organization for marketing thought leaders and other professionals. The Silicon Valley chapter is one of the organization’s largest and can be found on the web at http://www.svama.net/.
Committee of 200 (C200) »
A membership organization made of the nation’s pre-eminant women business leaders. Originally, the idea was to limit membership to only 200 members. Today, this organization has almost 400 members … high performing women have to try 2x as hard as their male equivalents (joke). To qualify, women must be a CEO or run a division of a public company with revenues of $150M or more or run an entrepreneurial company with revenues of $15M or more. I qualified for membership back when I ran Miller/Kadanoff.

Forum for Women Entrepreneurs & Executives (FWE) »
Educational and social organization for women entrepreneurs was started by two Stanford GSB graduates and targets women who are actively engaged in running, leading, or servicing high-tech, high-growth companies.

Web analytics is the measurement, collection, analysis and reporting of internet data for the purposes of understanding and optimizing web usage. Targets industry practitioners, vendors, consultants and educators who use, sell, install, implement, consult, teach or train in the field.

A non-profit affiliation of business consultant with a dual mission to 1) provide companies seeking consultant talent with access to top tier consultants; and 2) to provide a forum for consultants to share information and effectively manage and grow their consulting practice.
Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA) »
WOMMA is the official trade association for the word of mouth marketing industry. Represents companies who are pioneering “the art and science of amplifying geniune consumer enthusiasm”.
